On my recent trip to Niagara Falls I took a lot of photos – there were so many views to see it from. I was amazed at the volume of water – simply unseen here in Australia.

Scotch Thistles
The scotch thistles are out. They are a weed and I need to get rid of them but, as yet, unable to work in the garden. However, they do make for good subject matter when taking photos. And I love their colours when they’re in flower.

A photo of a blue banded bee I took led me to a path of discovery. I began researching to find out what kind of bee it was. I've actually learnt lots of things since that day and can now name almost every bird in this region and identify it by its call too.
