Project 365

I’ve been participating in a project – to take a photo a day for 365 days. I actually take a couple thousand every month so can manage that ok, or can I? There was one day I completely forgot early in the year and more recently I’ve been sick with the flu so just didn’t pick up my camera. For all that, I have managed to take photos almost every day of the year and here some of them are.

I belong to the Australian Photography Forum and also Project 365 where it means taking a photo a day. I take more than just one a day but struggle to get them all uploaded every day. However this link will lead you to some of the shots I have tagged for Project 365 which is hosted at Flickr.com

This is all about developing habits, getting lots of practice (as photographers definitely need this) and honing skills. I hope you can see that over the 80+ days I’ve been participating my photos are improving.

Hello, my name is Kathie. I've enjoyed photography since my teen years but didn't take it seriously until a few years ago.

A photo of a blue banded bee I took led me to a path of discovery. I began researching to find out what kind of bee it was. I've actually learnt lots of things since that day and can now name almost every bird in this region and identify it by its call too.
