Cyclocross, Melburn

Such a beautiful day yesterday (Sunday) here in Melbourne and the first round of the Melburn Cyclocross was on at Lysterfield Lake Park. My husband and I went to spend some of the afternoon there to watch the bike race and for me to get my hand back in at some action photography. I miss the bike races. My husband was racing up until his accident some months ago so we haven’t been to one for sometime. The race was open to both juniors and adults in several categories.

This is just some of the action I captured yesterday:

Sky High, Mt Dandenong

Recently our nephew came for a visit and we took the day off from work to drive him around, taking the opportunity to see things we hadn’t yet seen.   And so we paid a visit to Sky High at Mt Dandenong and below is just part of the view of the city of Melbourne from this lookout.  A little hazy on the day.

Out for a boat ride

There were a number of sea scouts and other groups out for the afternoon when we went for our cruise. This is one small group I believe are sea scouts and they were heading for a boat anchored out in the bay.
