Got this shot one day as I walked along the dam wall at Lysterfield Lake. The Heron was busy surveying the water but was very conscious of my presence too.
Anything you can do I can do better…
Cloudy day at the lake
You would have seen the lovely sunset shots I got the other night at Lysterfield Lake Park. On the day these two photos were taken the weather was very different and you can see the clouds rolling in over the hills in the distance. The atmosphere at the park is quite different when it’s overcast. Still a beautiful place to visit though.
Walking on water
One misty morning
More scenes from Lysterfield Lake on that misty morning. A single bright red kayak added interest to the scene as it slowly moved through the glass like lake.
I think he (at the back) was teaching her how to paddle as he was making a rhythmic sound although I couldn’t quite make out the word he was saying over and over again.
Misty morning
I’ve had a short break – busy week! And another market to prepare for which takes place this morning at Belgrave South Baptist from 9am to 1pm if anyone is nearby and would like to drop in.
During the week I was back at Lysterfield Lake Park. A short distance from my home, I often go on walks there with a friend. It’s 6.6km around the lake but we often go up another track higher up the hill and the walk is then just over 9km.
One particular morning the mist lay over the lake and the water was like a mirror. Very beautiful.
