Sunset views

Although I spend a lot of mornings at Lysterfield Park and occasional afternoons, I’d never done a sunset walk there before last week.  My husband Graham was feeling ready for a walk and I was keen to see a sunset at the park so we went together. Regular readers will know that Graham is recovering from a spinal cord injury as a result of a mountain biking accident of 6 months ago, so it’s good that he’s up to walking. He managed around 3kms before being too tired to continue on and returned to the car while I walked for a while longer.

These two shots are from that evening although the sunset wasn’t as spectacular as I was hoping. I’ll go another evening sometime.

More Autumn photos

As Autumn here is drawing nearer to winter the colours are getting more vibrant on the trees and on the ground.  The next few days are of my own grounds or gardens and parks not far from where we live.

Shades of Autumn

The leaves are turning colour here at home now and when I drive around I see the same. I love this time of year, cooler at night, still warm days, and beautiful colours.
