Misty morning

I’ve had a short break – busy week!  And another market to prepare for which takes place this morning at Belgrave South Baptist from 9am to 1pm if anyone is nearby and would like to drop in.

During the week I was back at Lysterfield Lake Park. A short distance from my home, I often go on walks there with a friend.  It’s 6.6km around the lake but we often go up another track higher up the hill and the walk is then just over 9km.

One particular morning the mist lay over the lake and the water was like a mirror. Very beautiful.

A visit to Lysterfield Lake Park

It was forecast to be very cold with frost and fog on Saturday morning so I knew where I wanted to be, if only I could get out of bed in time. And I did. The next few days’ posts will be about my visit there.

Below is the lake with mist over it and the image below that is of two women, rugged up, walking toward the fog and a rider coming back out of it. He stopped by me a minute later asking if I’d take a photo of him with his bike on his phone camera. Perhaps I should have taken one with my camera too! Mind you, I took over 400 photos yesterday :-)

Maple Tree Leaves

Aren’t the Maple Trees beautiful at Autumn time? This is in a park not far from home.
