I went with my youngest daughter and some of her husband’s family to visit a bush market a couple of hours away into the country. I went purely to see what I might get pics of but apart from the market and crowds there, there wasn’t a massive lot of interest for photography. There was much more that caught my eye on the trip up and back. In fact I did get the driver to pull over once on the way home but didn’t feel I could keep asking her to stop. I need to drive back up that way myself very soon I think. In the meantime, these are just a few images I got on that day.
Misty mornings
I went to a business breakfast last Tuesday and across the road was a lake. I sat and watched the mist rising from the lake and hoped some would still be there after the meeting had finished. Of course my camera was with me!

Walking a path

This is the path I was walking when I came across the family of kangaroos. I just love the Australian countryside – the gum trees have such character and all quite different.

Bendigo MTB Endurance Race

Out on the track. I moved around to get different shots and angles of the riders as they rode past.
Bendigo MTB Endurance Race
On the weekend we stayed in Bendigo, travelling up on Saturday and staying overnight in a small cottage and then leaving early the following morning for the race just out of town. There were a few hundred people there and it didn’t take long for the tent city to grow and take shape.

Below: My husband Graham leading this small group. The laps were approx 9.5km in length and the race was for 6 hours. His team, Team Sally, did 10 laps in total.

Autumn colours at the garden

This is a Japanese Maple tree and I just loved the contrast of the red leaves against the greenery under the tree. Likewise the orange against the black in the photo below.
