Only 5 weeks away…. did you know that? So there’s time still to plan your Christmas gifts. If you are looking for something with an Australian flavour then I have several things available for you to consider. I am increasing the inventory on a regular basis now but the links below will give you a good start.
And don’t forget I have Christmas cards as well. $3 for one, or a pack of 10 for $25. Envelopes are included.
Click on the links below to explore and place your order.
Bags - a variety of handbags and other bags for selection.
Books - photobooks of the beautiful Dandenong Ranges region.
Fun things – playing cards, jigsaw puzzles and more.
Greeting cards – every day cards, Christmas Cards, special events, postcards large and small.
Home & Office – a variety of items such as note pads, memo pads, etc.
Prints & Posters – digital downloads, prints, framed prints, canvas prints and posters.
Parks Victoria has a photography competition at Facebook which helps highlights the parks in Victoria.
I have five entries in the competition and would love it if you would vote for at least one of them. I entered early in the competition but because there have been so many entries since then mine have missed being seen with all the other votes happening and they have been buried at the bottom of the list. So, I’ve made it easy for you to find them.
You can click on this link and it will lead you to all five of them. And you can also see them below. Which is your favourite? And do you know where they are?

This month I will be at the Kallista Market on Saturday 5th November and GrassRoots Community Market on Sunday 20th November. If you’re in the vicinity of the Dandenong Ranges, make sure you pop by and say hello. In fact, if you let me know you saw this post I’ll have a gift to give you from my photography range. So please do come say hi!
On that note, I would love it if you let others know about this site. Tweet about it, tell others at Facebook and LinkedIn and if appropriate, link to it on your sites or elsewhere. Because I rebranded the domain I’m having to rebuild my Google Page Rank so the more it’s mentioned in other places the better.
In the meantime, I’ve been exploring sites such as ArtsCow.com, Etsy.com and Zazzle.com to find different places to create product to sell online. If you know of a site that would be worth my visiting, please let me know in the comment section below. And if you do photography and have products you create, I would love to know about it – as I’m sure my readers will too!
Below is a Swamp Wallaby taken at Lysterfield Park a couple of weeks ago. I love its panda like face.
‘Shall I or shan’t I?’ he must be thinking. He knew I was watching him with this long black thing in front of my face.

Here’s a small selection of houses that have been decorated for Christmas. They’re not the best pics and one of the house has spoiled it by having bins out front (it’s not collection day) but it will give you a bit of an idea of what people do here. We just have a tree blinking in the window at our home.
Thank you for your readership and encouragement this year and I hope that you have a great Christmas surrounded by people who mean a lot to you. May it be a safe holiday season for you also.

The scotch thistles are out. They are a weed and I need to get rid of them but, as yet, unable to work in the garden. However, they do make for good subject matter when taking photos. And I love their colours when they’re in flower.
I’m now getting back outside into my garden, which is such a blessing. It’s not until you lose the use of something for sometime (in my case a foot and leg) that you don’t realise how much it means to you. So glad to be walking again, even if slowly. Yesterday I enjoyed the afternoon [...]

I was out with my husband yesterday. We were heading back from seeing the surgeon about my broken leg (by the way, I’ve been given permission to start walking again so I am, with just one crutch and can now venture outside and down steps by myself, yay!). We stopped at a bakery to pick [...]
Hello, my name is Kathie. I've enjoyed photography since my teen years but didn't take it seriously until a few years ago.
A photo of a blue banded bee I took led me to a path of discovery. I began researching to find out what kind of bee it was. I've actually learnt lots of things since that day and can now name almost every bird in this region and identify it by its call too. Apart from improving my skills in photography and learning more about my camera, lighting, settings, etc, I've learnt so much more about the environment in which I live. [Read More …]
