Cocoa the bunny

My daughter has been telling me for weeks about this rabbit that visits her garden and has young ones. I’d not seen it till now. We came back to her home from shopping and there was the rabbit out in the street, enjoying a neighbour’s lawn. Pretty rabbit and quite big.

I think this lovely lady was as surprised as I was when I rounded the corner and we came face-to-face… well almost! She was a few metres from me and wouldn’t turn around so I could show you the joey she had in her pouch. I had interrupted her eating – you can see the grass hanging out the side of her mouth.

Canberra Botanical Gardens

On Saturday 7th March we visited the Botanical Gardens and had lunch there. It was a really beautiful day, quite perfect in fact, and Graham and Meredith wandered off into the distance catching up while I dawdled behind snapping to my heart’s delight. Hope you like this selection!
