I’m a cat lover and have photos of a few cats – some of our own and some that belong to family or friends. Shadow in the daisies

This is our cat Shadow sitting in the long grass and miniature daisies. He’d recently had an operation and was enjoying being outside. The grass was long because the ground was too wet to run the ride-on mower on without getting bogged. I don’t think our cats mind the long grass at all.

In this image, where Shadow is inspecting the grass before venturing onto it, you can see a glimpse of his shaved side.

My daughter’s cat. Beautiful nature. I was doing some shots of her for a party and the cat was in this lovely pose. Couldn’t resist.

Smokey the Cat

This is one of our cats. Despite the beautiful day I took this photo I didn’t get to go outside and realised in the evening I’d still not taken any photos (a rarity). Smokey was on my desk so he became my subject. He is a very content, happy cat and good company.

The beauty of the Bengal

My youngest daughter has two beautiful Bengal cats, barely out of kittenhood really. They are very curious, very playful and larger in height than the average domestic cat. I just had to share their beauty with you. Their names are Jonas and Scarlett.

I think Toki is a lovely study when he doesn’t realise I’m watching him. He often follows me around in the garden as I move around with my camera.

The neighbour’s cat is constantly on our property watching our boys. She’s been coming closer and closer to the driveway and house but was showing a bit of attitude the other day.
